Mary’s Nutritionals was developed as a CBD-only alternative to its pioneering parent brand, Mary’s Medicinals, known for creating the first cannabis transdermal patch. As a brand extension, Mary’s Nutritionals leveraged the established reputation of its parent brand.

With the rapid scaling of this new product line and emerging opportunities for co-branding in the hospitality space, a brand identity refresh was needed. The packaging and identity had to be flexible to accommodate these new ventures.

My brand design strategy drew inspiration from the design architecture of the parent brand, while evolving the aesthetic to suit this non-THC line. I focused on keeping the product information straightforward and uncluttered, ensuring all supplement facts, legal statements, and fine print adhered to strict regulatory compliance laws and standards for the CBD consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
