mary's medicinals

Mary’s Nutritional’s was developed as a CBD only alternative to cannabis pioneer and parent brand, Mary’s Medicinals (the first cannabis transdermal patch). Designed as a brand extension, the brand leveraged the equity of an established brand name. 

A brand identity refresh was requested during the product line design as a response to this line extension scaling quickly, bringing in new opportunities for co-branding in the hospitality space. The packaging and identity required flexibility of design to accommodate these new ventures. 

The brand design strategy was inspired by the design architecture of the parent brand while evolving the design to be tailored for this non-THC line. We also kept the product information straightforward and decluttered, while including all supplement facts, legal statements and fine print following strict regulatory compliance laws and standards for CBD CPG industry.
